About Ignite
Setting the World On Fire
Ignite exists for two, equally-important reasons: to support those who wish to participate in Global Outreach, but experience financial barriers to participation, and to cultivate and nurture a community of GO! Alumni eager to make a greater positive impact on the world.
Founded in 2018, Ignite is Global Outreach’s first-ever alumni-led giving circle. We are fueled by a dedicated board of volunteers, all of whom have been profoundly impacted by GO!, and sustained by our passionate membership. Through annual membership-dues, Ignite provides GO! scholarships to students who face significant financial barriers to participation. At the same time, we cultivate a deep sense of community among our members, which in turn, further ignites our desire for service.
Our Vision
Through its volunteer-led efforts, Ignite is building towards a version of Global Outreach that is truly accessible to all students, irrespective of their access to financial means, and a tight-knit, increasingly engaged community of GO! Alumni who make positive, lasting impact on the world around them.
About the Scholarship
As GO! Alumni, we recognize the profound impact this program has made on our lives. We believe that everyone should be offered an opportunity to partake in a project during their time at Fordham. Ignite was founded on this belief and seeks to support individuals who may not have otherwise applied to participate in GO!

By joining Ignite you are doing two amazing things: making GO! affordable for all and joining a community of other service-driven alumni. Your annual membership dues ($50) will support Ignite scholarships.
As a member of Ignite, you will have access to exclusive events, volunteer opportunities, and Fordham's only active community of GO! Alumni.

Happy Hour & Mingle
This event is for new and existing members alike, to mingle, get to know each other, and raise money for our scholarship fund. We will provide the space, the food, and the drink; all you have to do is come ready to chat!
You don't have to have done GO! to attend, so invite your friends!
($15 entry fee to cover snacks and drinks and to benefit scholarship recipients!)
